policy
This policy explains what information production34.com collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises — the way we write contracts, too.
Effective date: November 4, 2026
01Who this policy covers
Production 34 LLC (“Production 34”, “we”, “us”) is a film and video production company based in Brooklyn, New York. This policy applies to visitors of production34.com and to prospective, current and past clients who share information with us through this website — primarily via the project brief form on the contact page and email links.
It does not cover information collected offline on set, in the studio, or through contracts and invoices; those are governed by your production agreement and our confidentiality terms, which always take precedence.
02What we collect
We only collect what a working relationship actually needs:
- Contact details — name, email, phone, company and role, when you submit a brief or email us.
- Project information — the brief itself: project type, timeline, budget range, references and any files you attach.
- Communication records — our replies, call notes and scheduling, kept so we don't ask you the same question twice.
- Technical basics — anonymous, aggregated data such as pages viewed and approximate region, if analytics is enabled (see Cookies).
We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information, we do not buy data brokers' lists, and we never will. We also don't run advertising trackers or sell audience segments.
03How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare an accurate proposal, schedule or bid.
- To deliver the contracted work, issue invoices and keep our books.
- To send occasional studio updates — only if you opted in, with one-click unsubscribe on every send.
- To keep production34.com secure and working properly.
We do not use your information to train machine-learning models of any kind, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has a legal or similar effect on you.
04Sharing & vendors
We keep your information to ourselves except for a short list of service providers who process it strictly on our instructions:
- Email and file-transfer providers used to receive briefs and deliver footage.
- Accounting software used for invoicing and tax compliance.
- The hosting provider that serves this website.
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to enforce our rights — for example in connection with a dispute over a signed production agreement. If a shoot requires a client-facing portal or review tool, that will be named in your project agreement before anything is uploaded.
05Cookies & analytics
This website is intentionally light: it is static HTML with no logins, no shopping carts and no advertising cookies. Any analytics we run is privacy-friendly, aggregated, and does not build individual profiles. You can block or delete all cookies for this site in your browser at any time without losing functionality.
06How long we keep it
- Briefs and enquiries that don't become projects: deleted after 12 months.
- Client records: kept for the period required by New York State and U.S. federal tax law — typically seven years after the final invoice.
- Project footage and files: retention is defined in your production agreement, including any archive windows and deletion requests after handover.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to processing or ask us to limit it;
- withdraw consent for optional communications (like the studio update) at any time;
- receive your information in a portable format.
If you are a California resident, these rights include those under the CCPA/CPRA; note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. If you are in the EEA or UK, they include your GDPR rights. To exercise any of them, email privacy@production34.com — we will verify the request and respond within 30 days. You will never be charged, and you will never be treated differently for asking.
08Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to briefs, project files and client records is limited to team members who need it for their role, protected by strong authentication. If a data incident ever affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities without undue delay.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the studio or the law changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version; material changes will be flagged to active clients by email. This page is archived at production34.com/privacy.html.
